Toyota in partnership with other organisations is inviting application for Toyota Scholarships. Toyota which manufactures cars like Camry, Corolla, RAV4 etc is a global leader in automobile sector. The majority of scholarships and grants funded by Toyota are administered through the partner organisations, and students apply directly through the organisations involved. The following organisations and foundations are supported by charitable donations from the Toyota Motor Corporation:
The American Indian College Fund: Toyota in partnership with the American Indian College Fund support the Toyota Sales Tribal College Scholarship. About one hundred scholarships are awarded annually to Native American students enrolled in a tribal college, or a participating national college or university. The Hispanic Scholarship Fund: The Hispanic Scholarship Fund and Toyota Motor Sales jointly offer the HSF/Toyota High School Scholarship Program. Applicants have to be high school seniors who are U.S. citizens of Hispanic heritage. To be eligible, applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and must be enrolled, or preparing to enrol, at one of the 34 participating colleges and universities. The average award amount is $5000. The Association of Independent Kentucky Colleges and Universities: Every year Toyota funds a Toyota Scholar at each of the 20 independent colleges and universities in the state of Kentucky. The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation – Toyota Motor Corporation has endowed a scholarship fund administered via the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation. A $5000 scholarship is awarded every year to a Marine Corps service member or a veteran from one of the company’s twelve regions across the United States. Apply online here.
The National FFA Organization: Toyota jointly with the FFA, formerly the Future Farmers of American, to offer an annual scholarship for minority students pursuing degrees related to a career in agriculture. The United Negro College Fund: The Toyota/UNCF Scholarship Program is for students enrolled at one of seven UNCF member colleges or universities. Forty scholarships are awarded every year and awards are determined based on academic merit and financial need. The maximum award amount is $7500. Apply online here
Youth For Understanding: As one of the first corporate sponsors of Youth For Understanding, Toyota has funded more than 500 scholarships for students studying abroad. The Toyota-TEMA Scholarship covers full tuition costs for a summer of study in Brazil, Germany or Japan and wards are determined strictly based on merit. Apply online here.
